Hey! Nice to meet you.

My name is Arianna, born and raised in a small town in the Netherlands. I started cooking when I was a kid and was fascinated with my moms cooking. It wasn't like she was an incredible cook, she was just the only example I had. (Love you mom.) I devoured every cooking show I could watch and still remember my first cook book. Or the first time I organized Christmas dinner and that time I thought I could whip up my sisters wedding cake during finals, sigh.. About 8 years ago I decided to go vegetarian. It was a bit of a shock for the people in a small farmers town where our pride is fish and bread. (Yes, just like Jesus). Finding good alternatives was a struggle, but hey, thank goodness for French fries and hummus.

During my time volunteering in Mozambique I fell in love with the US (wait... what). The organization I used to work for was predominantly ran by Americans which exposed me to the different expressions of culture within America. So fast forward years later I ended up here, in Vancouver WA. All my recipes are a mix and blend, just like me! Dutch roots, global inspiration, plant forward creativity, and a whole lot of trial and error. What drives me is the way food connects us. Food has this magical way of bringing people together. It has the power to break the ice during a first date or change your mood when your blood sugar is dropping.

Honestly, I could go on and on about why food has such a hold on me and why I’m obsessed with that very first bite. And as I'm writing this I can't believe my dream is actually happening. I really hope you get inspired by the food and the journey I went on creating these recipes. Let this get you excited to present simple and clean food for yourself, family and friends. Macro balanced food can take a lot of time. Our mission is to do all the work for you, provide all the information and calculation to a super easy and wholesome meal. We want easy access, quick meals, and overall happiness when seeing healthy changes in your life. Internet is filled with an overwhelming amount of information to right and wrong. This page is to help you start, and continue in your fitness/health journey. Providing recipes for all levels, and won't take hours in the kitchen prepping for the week.

Our vision

We want to live in a world where life is all about balance. Our parents view to dieting was unhealthy and extremely restrictive, so our generation pendulum swung to the other side and our view to dieting again became unhealthy. Where the word ''diet'' was forbidden. Diet simply means 'way of living' our vision is that there is joy in eating clean and gut healthy and room a super fudge brownie that is waiting for a special moment. To enjoy and not feel guilty about.
